No surprise at all. Shenmue was an epic game, one of my top games of all time, I waited for this game for 18 years, since it was announced I knew it would be a disaster. When you wait for so long you want something special, not a low budget version of what could be a masterpiece.
Well fans didn't make any pack like this. You have packs that look like this or better but you need a monster PC to run it. That's one reason for this not to come out, you would need a monster PC to run it. Another reason is the arrival of Ray Tracing and the game changer that it is. Microsoft will want Minecraft with RT on the next Xbox and PC, that's what they're working on.
Bottom line, it is a huge FAIL by Mojang, this pack looked sick
People just can't understand the great value of todays subscriptions or are just stupid.
Xbox game pass has now around 35 games I bought in the past. 35*60$ = 2100$ how's that not a good value?
Maybe most people here are rich to keep paying 60$ for each single game.
Overpriced gadget that it's not a console nor a phone. I don't know how Nintendo keeps fooling so many people, aside from 1st party exclusives it only runs heavy downgraded ports of 360/PS3 games. 300$ for this piece of crap, no thank you.
Please STOP with this anti-Xbox propaganda. YES, PS4 has more exclusives, great exclusives. But like me there's more people who couldn't care less about Uncharted or The Last of Us.
The only good thing I can say about physical games is that you can buy old games a lot cheaper on ebay.
Today you can't play straight from disc, you have to install the game as well, you can't save space on the HDD so there's no point. I understand collectors but for most people it will be like VHS or DVD, many people collected dozens of movies that now are worth nothing and have no use.
For people who didn't play the game at it's time it's hard to understand, but this is a dumb article.
This is not a remake, Shenmue 1 and 2 deserve a real one, but this is a way for people to experience the game at is't purest state.
Shenmue was jaw dropping when it released on Dreamcast, still my favorite game off all time, one of the best experiences of my life, Dreamcast guys know what I'm saying.
300$ for a super outdated console, can't even run old games with decent settings, Nintendo and their fanboys need to wake up. What a ripoff, stay away.
Nintendo needs to wake up, the Switch will flop like the Wii-U. Expensive outdated hardware, OS is terrible, the games are downgraded ports from PS4/X1, developers will stay away.
