Ok so lets say your right 50,000 hour life span, if a 100,000 hours at 12 a day is 23 years, then your talkin an 11 year life span for a tv, is that not enought for anybody, it certainly is for me.
My post was a reply to ironmonkeys saying that plasma dies out and the bulb cant be replaced, so if it lasts for 10 years im happy.
Most plasmas manufacturers have a 100,000 hour life span nowadays, just the same as lcd, and my old plasma in my room been going good for 5 years
