And its amazing what they did with The Dark Sorcerer. I got to see the extended demo at E3 and the developer stopped it in the end and showed us it's not pre rendered by moving the camera, turning off texture on character, turning off background, lighting. And stated this demo is the worst they will be able to do on PS4. And they are hitting CG quality of 5 years ago and development just started. Amazing.
At E3 i played it on PS4. Didn't really notice if there was an Xbox controller on other stations.
Ya different games but the article didn't say The Crew sets graphics bar for Arcade racers high. So it's a fair comparison. Played both and still enjoy DriveClub more. Need For Speed was also way better than The Crew. I was disappointed in The Crew once the video went into what the game is like and not what it seemed it would be like in the CG trailer. You know racing around and people meeting up to help. Turned into a chase this guy down, run him off the road, race to here first kind...
Played both yesterday and gotta say DriveClub is better IMO. Forza was just a bit colorful and when taking a turn fast and u slam on the breaks it just slides straight into the wall. Driveclub you smash on breaks and it breaks to an extent. Can't do 200 and hit breaks at last minute and expect to stop.
35% Seriously? I just played it yesterday at E3 and it looked complete to me. Damage and all. Drives really good too. Take a corner too fast and its pretty hard to save. Drifting is really good on it as well. If you go off road onto the grass as you're turning you will lose the backend and sometimes can recover. Pretty cool.
This game looks bad ass. Was talking to developer at E3 and he said it was Free to play on launch of PS4. PS+ is definitely worth every penny.
Unless they say You cannot play online without PS+ then its rumor. What i head when he said it was if you want to get the full experience you will need + but he did not say you can't play unless you have +
Well i watched hoping for new bad ass games. I got 2 that looked cool as exclusives. Remember the decision to buy either MS or Sony comes down to Exclusives. And MS didn't do well in that regard. Ryse is awesome and from what i hear TitanFall timed exclusive not sure though. Metal Gear and Witcher Multiplat as well as BF4.
Well it will be 2016 before it gets any price reduction if that's what you're waiting for. You could always do the down payment and 2 years xbox live contract if they ever offer it.
It was a good conference but still lacked in showing me what the ONE is capable of. The exclusives were too cartoony for my liking. Aside from Ryse of course. I wish that was PS4 that game is bad ass. TitanFall was cool just not next gen in graphics. Most of the exclusives looked XBL style. A lot of games shown were multiplat. So if Sony can show 4 new IP and a few Exclusives we all are hoping for that are pushing what is to be next gen then they will take home E3.
Well always Sony fan from beginning. But was hoping MS would show something more than XBL looking games. And more exclusives showing what Xbox 1 can do. Metal Gear amazing truly next gen looking but also PS4 title. Witcher same thing. TitanFall looks cool not so much next gen graphics but awesome game none the less. Not enough exclusive titles to merit a buy for me. ill stick to one console this time around and PS4 looks to be that one.
@ IGAM3R How did MS rip off US consumer by having the console for 499Euro and 499 US? 499 euro in US would be almost $800 US. Seems to me like Europe got the shaft. Usually it is always less than US but in Euro which still makes it more than US but not by that much.
