Im a sony fan and my PS3 is only ever plugged in to the internet when a system update is available or a game update is available.

It is possible and will be done. Nothing is hack proof.

I dont care. PS4 won’t impose any new restrictions on your use of PS4 game discs. PS4 disc-based games don’t need to be connected online to play. If you enjoy single-player games offline, PS4 won’t require you to 'check in' online periodically. PS4 games won’t stop working if you haven’t authenticated in 24 hours.
This wins it for me. Also I dont need my console to act as a cable box. I already have a Sky+ HD box that does that job.
