If the Beta version of Windows 7 I have is anything to go by then it will make Vista look worse than it realy is and it should be on par with XP but with the extra bells and whistles. I will wait and see how Windows 7 progresses from here. Its gone to hardware manufacturers now so they can write drivers and get their hardware working properly with the OS so in 6 months or so the driver issus should hopefully be fixed. We should hopefully see windows 7 by the end of next year.
@verb3k I have windows 7 M3 6801 and it isnt near as bad with hardware consumption , it also uses less ram than vista , it boots a whole lot faster than vista or XP ever did and it runs a whole lot faster than Vista its even a tad faster than XP. Yes the beta has teething problems with drivers but thats the only problem I have had with the past few days of Windows 7. You shouldnt judge something until you have experienced it.

The Idea wasnt to make it totally quiet like it is with the NXE. It was also to help with the cooling of the XBOX 360. The 120mm fan moves more air across the heatsinks which keep the console cooler.

yes thats what Beta's are for but does everyone thats going to buy the game get into a beta? The answer to that is NO! I will never trust the hype , reviews and videos because I am an individual. I have different tastes than anyone else. Just because a website or video review says the game is 10 / 10 doesnt automatically mean you or me will give that game a 10 / 10. Maybe in the end it would be a 4 / 10 even though its the type of game I like. We cannot judge a game we havent played ourselves...
In my opinion Developers that dont release a demo for a high profile game are shooting themselves in both feet. DEVS are complaining about Piracy but they dont realise that we need to test the game before buying it.

What they failed to mention in that article is that is a 3 strikes law. you get3 chances and at the 3 time you are caught you are banned from the internet. This is a good Law but they need a law that Games Developers make Demos. This would also reduce Piracy a whole lot. Games Developers need to realise that we need a demo to test their game otherwise we will download to try.
Im a big fan of AMD CPU's but they are after falling behind with their CPU's in the past few years. I am hoping they come back with avengance with a new CPU core soon. Ive been using an Intel Q6600 for the past 2 months and I dont intend to change to AMD until they come on par if not better to Intel.
This is only a bat file download that injects a key into the registry to allow you to download the SP2 beta. Its not the SP2 file itself. This may not work for some people. It only gets to 19% download before it stops and wont go any further. I have done every kind of troubleshooting suggested but nothing works.

Did you even read my last comment above yours? Microsoft confirmed that there will be no bans for updating the NXE early. This morning they said that you will not be able to connect to live until Nov 19th and there will be no bans applied for updating early.

This story was updated and is total BS. You will not get locked out or banned. Microsoft confirmed it themselves. Heres a quote from the update of that story.

I cant understand their whining myself. you would nearly think people are being forced to do this OPTIONAL install on the HDD. I installed the NXE myself and your not forced to install on the HDD. You have an option to install data on the HDD and I welcome the option. My Xbox360 is almost silenty just like my PS3 now.
