The funny part about this comment is that 90% of the articles written on the site are about the PS3. The truth is, that GameRevolver is fan based, and its articles cater to all systems. I (steriotyp) own all 3 next gen consoles, not to mention each console for the last decade and a half. To each system its own. They all have great games and carr their own appeal. Make sure you look past the cover.
Nobuo Uematsu is a great composer. I liked his work in Ehrgeiz as well as his new stuff in Blue Dragon (From what I have heard so far)
Halo 2. Halo 3 does not compare to the theme of Halo 2 imo
was considered, but if you read the first paragraph, this list is composed of the most memorable. Most gamers are more familiar with VII than the latter. It should get an honorable mention though.
We have reviewed this title both before and after the update, and to be honest, I do not see any difference in controls. If I look hard, I may venture to say the flight system is smoother, but I would be digging hard. The flight system never really was the problem, it is the targeting that kills it.
Warhawk is a fun and very addictive game, and was not overlooked in the article, but we are going on time frame here. Adding Warhawk would've added August into the mix (I know, I know, Lair came out August 31st, but most stores and even our site was confused on this)and that was too big of a stretch. Actually, this review was done half before, and half after the update. The update did not give us any noticable increase other than in flight, which was pretty darn good to begin with. The rest was unchanged.
Although the game is not perfect, it is the first of several AAA games that will be hitting this month and next, creating an overwhelming selection of top quality games for the PS3. We all know it takes about a year for a console to gain a decent library and the PS3's time has finally come.

Thanks for the input. These things are all key points and to the casual gamer, they hit the core of what people want to know. Have you all forgotten that most of Sega's greatest titles were their sports titles? And because of the success of there NBA, MLB and NFL 2K series, they created another name for them, hence 2K Sports. Even if Sega (Service Games) cans the Sega name, they will live on in 2K for years to come.
