The conference in question is taking place at 10am (Eastern). This conference will be live streamed.
(which I believe it will be streamed here http://www.nintendo.com/wii... )
Also note that there will be Nintendo Directs for other countries at the same time. [and as a bonus Japan is getting a Nintendo Direct at 3 am and 10 am (Eastern)]

It would be a dumb move for Microsoft to do that. Sure it could put a damper on Wii U sales, but unless they were going to release it this year, it would destroy Microsoft's sales during the holidays as well.
This game supposedly, even though it ends Lightning's "saga", will be it's own stand alone experience (well according to what they said anyways).
Also, the gameplay is supposedly going to be more like an Action RPG then the previous ones(in a battle you'll be able to freely move Lightning around, and there will be a button for blocking as well). So I think they have multiple reasons for not naming it XIII-3, since this one seems different.
If a retailer broke street date, then Capcom could fine the hell out of them.
Unless it was a mom and pop store that doesn't have any kind of agreement for street dates.
I love TWEWY, and I was absolutely heated at the announcement of this on the iOS instead of an actual new game. Like severely pissed, but nothing about this version is gimped. If anything I've enjoyed it slightly more then the original. I know that won't be a popular opinion, but by no means is this a bad version of the game. It fits iOS much better then I was originally expecting.
Ah, I was unaware of that. I only knew about True Crimes: Hong Kong. They also in a recent interview only talked about the reasoning for the new change in name from True Crimes, so I didn't know about that.
This game was originally a "True Crimes" game, and the name was only changed because of licensing issues (Activision owns True Crimes, but dropped this game. Square Enix decided to pick up the developers).
So I wouldn't really count this as a new IP, but still worth supporting
If they keep the game structure similar, then it would still rely on 2 screens in order to play the game (again assuming they keep the same structure as before). So I'm thinking this is going to be a 3DS release, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Golden Sun: Dark Dawn was a let down. Wasn't a terrible game, but way too straightforward and not as good as the other Golden Sun games. Doesn't deserve any more hype then it received.
Tales of the Abyss was not a remake (what the article states). It was a port. They added absolutely nothing new to the game, and that's why it doesn't deserve any hype.
Mario Tennis Open doesn't really do anything new. In fact, it removed features when compa...
Fap to everything, always.
Megaman...no...What have they done to you?
Square Enix announced Final Fantasy 3 for it. It will be the DS remake remastered in HD.
Also, Namco Bandai and Ouya are in talks for them to put stuff on the console as well.
I'm getting it, and going to support the console because I want it to be a success. Definitely isn't something that should be considered as amazing as everyone out there is making it, but I really want it to do well.
I spoke with a Sony rep (I know this doesn't mean it's entirely credible since they are just a rep) at a store I work at the other day. I asked him about the possibility of a price drop. He said that he doesn't see one happening because they are selling the Vita at cost, but instead we should start to see more bundles (similar to the ACIII one coming out later this year).
So if he knows what he's talking about, we might not see a price drop on the system for a...

Wii Fit was indeed shown during the Nintendo Direct, but it was only teased. During Nintendo's Conference they showed it off more.
I'm not questioning casual content. I realize that all of the Big 3 now incorporates it (or at least tries to). I also don't find the Wii U as underwhelming as people make it seem. I merely pointed out that the ma...
I love Nintendo, and I will get the Wii U at some point.
As for the casual games, Nintendo showed off Wii Fit, Nintendo Land, Sing, and Game & Wario(which as of now looks like a casual title). Wii Fit, Nintendo Land, and Sing were also major parts of their conference.
That's the reason why some gamers have been saying that they see a pattern. E3 was really the time to "wow" the hardcore crowd. I don't think that they did a bad job with ...
Color me interested. I hope this turns out to be a good game.
We'll have to wait on the online thing, but as for the hard drive situation....I don't see it as a problem.
The Wii U will be able to take any SD cards, USB drives, and/or External Hard Drives a consumer has. They might not come with one, but they also aren't forcing you to buy their own devices in order to use a storage medium on the console.
Also, there will be some sort of flash memory on the system. I don't know how much there will be, but...
That's correct. Though worded like a question, my statement was posted to convey my confusion. I don't dislike Let's Plays, I just think they shouldn't be placed on a site entitled "News 4 Gamers".
With my opinion out of the way, initially stated because this was the first time I noticed it, from now on I'll just turn a blind eye to them.
Better integration. It's all in one centralized app.
Also, I can't speak for other countries, but in USA it isn't possible to watch TV through your PS3.
It's not something "amazing", but it's definitely cool that it was integrated. So far it's the best integration of watching content from TV/Movies/Sports on a home console. (and unlike Microsoft, you don't have to pay to access it)
Definitely think next g...
