Umm you do know that Sony and Microsoft are competing for customers and they don't see Home or NXE as an New interface and application?
They see it as a marketing product to use for fishing in the customer/finance pond.
To get customers recognision you always have to 1up your compeditor and this is exactly what happens atm.

Sorry but I fail to see how Gears with more than 5 on 5 would destroy the so called "tactics" thats present in it.
Every multiplayer game in gears has always been. "The one that that siderolls the most in close combat wins". Much like MGS-online. And gears would be much better off with 16vs16 split in to 8 squads of 4 players in each.
They could, at the very least, have the map support and option for it as it still is "Gears of war 2" im...

I feel so bad for Kontaku (but in a good way). They won't get any backpass info or previews or anything from sony and this is probably the best looking/playing game to date.

I've been in the R2 beta and I can honestly say that this game is no 10. But below 9 is falling towards biasness.
Yeah I can't belive how fast insomniac work. R2 has had almost minimal development time and still it's probably the longest (in overall completion time) game that has ever been created. Mad props!
Putting sales figures aside I can't really understand how you reason when you say all eyes on Fable 2 and Gears 2. Over 30% of people that have played them says that they are a let down. Still great! but a let down.
Under 10% of people that have played LBP, Killzone 2 beta, MGS4 says that they were a let down. R2 could be around 20-30%.
So if people aren't happy about what they are getting then why should they keep thier eyes on it?

I think people have to recognise that Banjo & Kazoie and other similar games aren't aimed at grown men. Only then can they start reviewing games for what they really are.

I would never ever, ever buy the PS3 version of this game and I would never ever, ever buy a game made by Treyarch.
