Uno was one game that got a lot of play at our place - cam not included which I think kept the family coming back lol
You know No Mercy / WCW NWO were some of the better games but I guess we have to move on. I actually got out No Mercy two weeks ago to see what it was like and honestly it had some strong points but I would say that was much more generic than this is.
Sure it is a lot of punch/punch/punch but they have recreted what really made wrestling back in it's day.
I am hanging out to play this one but I want to get R4 before giving this one a go (in case of story spoilers etc)
As much as I would love to spend the bonus on games - I think that I would regret it afterwards when you see the price of games drop during end of financial year sales etc in the following months.
Problem for me, being a huge zombie fan I am a sucker for the games. Even if it has bad reviews I have to go out and get a copy of the game. Zombie Hunters II anyone? :)
I had such high hopes for this too. I was hoping this would be another game in the style of worms but bring something new.
Unless we are playing SNES - very rarely does my wife play any console game. I am really trying to get her to co-op House of the Dead for the Wii at the moment
I couldnt resist picking up this title. So many fond memories and I dont care what anyone says - emulation dosent beat playing it on a console
Was never a huge fan of Halo or gave the multiplayer side of things much of a try but I might go back and give it a go now.
Looks like another game I am going to have to pick up. Still think the whole RTS to Console is going to take a while to get used to.
Haven't played either - these games just stress me out too much. I have a hard time with L4D as it is!
Certainly is a good deal. This game should have a big online player-base.
Another racing game to knock of the last racing game until the next one comes along and claims to do the same thing and if the next isn't cross platform WWIII begins.
I agree - this should be given away as a Microsoft promotion if anything. Perhaps bundle it with another arcade game but no chance I would pick this up when I can get the bare-bones version for free.
I am really hoping the third DLC which will raise the level cap along with allowing people to continue playing after the final story will also include a reason to continue on with your character. I really want to go back and do it all again but then I think of how much time it took me the first time....
Couldn't have said it better myself Flair. Plus if I had my way I would have one of each console.
I will sit on the fence with this one. As mentioned earlier I was a fan of Burnout Revenge but just couldn't get into Paradise for this sandbox reason. I want to jump through menus and choose the races and such.
Shaun White Snowboarding bored me to tears having to spend most of my time heading towards races, staring at the same backgrounds for a race that was over in no time.
Sandbox is great so long as there isn't too much downtime.
I can see the future headlines: January 1st 2010 - Please no more Diesel!
Lets just hope they dont introduce their version of GTA.
Might keep the kids happy but I guess these days they are spoilt with games you can buy and probably cant see a reason to leave them sitting on the shelf to play this.
I think it is a great time-waster when you need a break from Fallout etc
