I love the Rainbow Six games and when I saw the game play for this during Ubisoft's stage time, I freaked out. It looks absolutely amazing and i can't wait to get my hands on it...in 2017.
I find It funny that you ask everyone to take this rationally, yet you are given a lot of disagrees. None the less, I completely agree with what you are saying. This article is extremely hostile toward Microsoft, for such a small sample size. Everything said should be taken in with some level of caution.

Just to add to that, the multiplayer would probably be lacking at this moment consider the game ISN'T out and no one is playing it. Most networks don't even have the review copies yet.
Saints Row the third is 5 years old? Dust:an elysian tale is 5 years old? Hitman: Absolution is 5 years old? You see where i am going with this? The games on Gold tend to have a mixture of age ranges, I will give you that. However, an older game doesn't mean a bad game, I'd play a great old game over a crappy new one.
The trailer looked pretty poor to me. In comparison to games like DayZ it looks rather rough. It is early in development so graphics won't be perfect. However, for a trailer the graphics are pretty bad.
Now I have seen it all. I have seen Sony fans fight Microsoft fans over some pretty dumb stuff, but come on guys really. Microsoft is not making a personal attack on Sony by posting their earnings. Plus, sorry to burst your bubble, but Sony is not worth more than Microsoft, quite the opposite. I find your argument really confusing. You ridicule the game for searching for a broader audience by making it easier, but I fail to see the "easy" factor that this game supposedly comes with. Although i will agree that it is the easiest of the three soul games, by no means is it a "push-over." I have played both souls games and I found a good challenge in the regular game of Dark souls II without any difficulty multipliers.

I just picked it up. In my opinion it is a little smoother than the 360/ps3 version, and I would say it has a bit better graphics too. The only part I don't like is that Ubisoft put no effort into making the Gamepad unique for this game. Really the only value to it is that you can have a map on it, and play the game off screen. Other than that GET IT, the game is awesome and it is at a great price.
Its the exact same game that everyone has already played. I don't see the hype on this one. I have already beaten TLOU a few times and i truly don't feel the need to buy the game again to beat it once more.

This doesn't come as a huge surprise to me. Where better to meet other gamers with the same interests than steam. As for adding the games onto the steam library, i'm not so sure. We all know that Halo 2 anniversary is coming at some point, so I don't see the logic in putting it on steam. In my mind it would make more sense as an xbone exclusive, to promote the console. Moreover, halo 3 still has a thriving multiplayer community. Again I don't see the logic in putting a console...

People didn't like Halo 4? Are you serious? Personally I have over 200 hours into the game. Also, the average review of the game ranged from 9.0-9.5. Microsoft sold over 9 million copies of the game, which is right around where most Halo games are. In addition, 343 put a strong amount of DLC into the game, and overall did a fantastic job continuing the story and gameplay of the Halo series. If Halo 5 does anything like Halo 4, it is going down the right path.
