- no FF ever had too few towns or cities (WHO CARES...TWO BIG PLANET IS ENOUGH)
- no FF let you have fixed amounts of characters as your party (FF IX=3 characters....FF VII= 3 characters, FF X....3 CHARACTERS)
- no FF has limited amount of gil (LOOOOLMFAO....)
- and no, FF movies or cutscenes are awesome and a pre must. (LOL ALWAYS)

I'm really sorry to say this but they have. It is the only logical explanation for the linearity and limited freedom. The shear fact of SE having to deal with multiple discs for the 360's version makes it so.

to not swapping disc(thought it isn't the big deal since most of these multi games can fit in less of 10 gb so far..but looking at what a 50 gb blu-r-disc game can offer, it is just plain clearly that blu ray is far better than the dvd stuffs.that become annoying at the end...hate to get up far from my bed to go on and take the first disc off and put the next...not my stuff anymore, a clearly example is star ocean DUD wow..and this ff xiii version isn't the exception.
none that i remember...since xbox is the lead console in mult games..so i guess the blu isnt needed there, but looking right into it...the ps3 with its exclusive occupying that space around 50 gb or so, seem to give far more reply value and graphics as well, aint saying 360 couldnt do so..but not in one disc...so what swapping is what you want for every game that are coming forward like mass effect 2..that is coming on two disc. so there u go.

-The party is fully healed because this is the hardest FF to date.
-The game is much more open then Final Fantasy 10, you just need to get halfway in to the game. The people saying it's linear are literally at max 15 hours in to the game. Probably less since importers only got it yesterday.
- You can flee battles however you can just run around the enemies on the field, also if you die theres a battle restart option and before you restart the battle y...
