I agree with you , because it makes sense they would cater to the low - mid - high end pcs as well as consoles to make maximum (lol) profit. Kind of a sell out but exclusives are becoming much rarer as multiplats seem to be to be ultimate cash cow. Guess the challange now is to appeal to each individual platform , for example the PC version of BF3 has 64 players and the PS3 version gets earlier access to the DLC IIRC. Obviously their are other reasons to buy for X platform like all your frien...
You been restarting BF3 after changing settings ? otherwise they don't take effect , another bug xD
Also since the patch & using the preview drivers MSAA on my OC 5870 is jerky as hell even though frames are high. Still a lil jerky without ; a bit , but i await the release to see the finished results which dice says are much better than the curent beta build , fingers crossed ay :D

Played all 3 versions side by side , PC just looks and feels better to play , battlelog is awesome too , prefer it to the usual in game browser crap that was in the older battlefields.
HOWEVER BEFORE U FLAME ME >....... YES U !
The console version was quite fun but the 360 version did not seem as stable as the ps3 version BUT thats because its a beta after all , random lag , jittering , people fallng ...
Enjoying The HD remakes, missed a lot of great titles back in the day :D
