Micro should try to reverse engineer, the insides of how a full function console is built. BUT they will eventually fuk that up too. Sony kings of hardware, kings of software (well game software that is).
Sony are hardware kings, a ps3 for 299.99 would of been unheard off just a month ago sure its not as glamourous as my chrome trimed 60gb (500gb). But even at the slims current aesthetics its not any better looking or worse looking depending at how you look at it compared to the 360.
BUT the real gem are the insides it supposed to generate less heat, and run cooler. All the Money in the world and Micorsoft engineers couldnt make it happen on the 360 and thats with the brick bein...
The Difference between Sony owners buying a second console, is that both are going to be working whilst on the 360 owners side 1 is insurance for when they other is shipped away to Texas for repairs.
So what if sony doesnt have its online service up to "live" standards YET, just remember Microsoft "hardware built" is not up to sony standards at the moment either.
By that i mean Sony is light years ahead of Microsoft in that department, adding the brick in the side and still keeping it cooler and more silent.
