Actually you can buy a kinda decent 4k TV now for 1500$. I mean it's not a smart TV or have all the fancy stuff but none the less its a basic 4K TV

You give gamers a bad name.. Grow up.

What ever happened to playing games and enjoying it? Everyone of my friend who are gamers around my age (31 yrs.) could care less about Xbox/PS wars. Its about the games not the console. You know I might get a X1 down the road if they take down the price a bit. But for right now PS4 fits my needs as a gamer so it's the one I'm picking up first.

I'm not a PSboy or a Xbox child, I'm a gamer.

I was kinda hoping that they would've put more into this game. Always loved the original. But really you have to pay for each character or bundle to get them all? And 6 characters total? Why not just release the demo and release the game. What with the micro transactions? Kinda seems like a quick half-assed game to get some cash.

But i get that they kinda do this with some launch titles. They could've at least threw more characters in

It was one guy from 4Chan that said this about the Thermal Paste I haven't actually heard anything from actual tech people about this problem.

Here's the thing Sony knows about these problem and yes it is a problem. But nobody has any reason to "burn Sony down" because of this. Nobody even really knows what the problem was/is. It could have been Sony's patch, mishandling, sabotage, or just a defect in the system or it could have been people would don'...

Most Consoles had failure.
NES faulty spring.
Xbox Disc read error
PS2 Faulty lens
360 RRoD
PS3 YLoD
WII U It was actually Nintendo who unintentionally bricked quite a few consoles

Actually Cars fail quite often. Even straight off the lot. Just like in Fight Club, someone goes out and they figure out to see if the failure is worth the companies attention.

And honestly if you knew the acceptable failure rate of cars, by your logic, you should be pretty scared every time you hop in a car.

Happy Driving

EDIT: just to give you a idea these are failure rates from 2007. Using 20,000 new cars of each company were tested

@morepowerofgreen

What are you talking about man?? Half the time the games weren't even running on X1 but a PC. And X1 has it's problems too. Like not being able to get passed the boot-up screen. Stop talking about things that you obviously have no knowledge about or facts to back it up

@Belking

I'm not a Sonyboy or a XboxKid. I'm a gamer first with common sense. I have a 360 right now and I love it. I have fun playing it. Wish I had a PS3 for some games but I don't which sux. I'm about having fun with games.

There is no spin on this. It's simple math. Hell cars even have a failure rate. And honestly if you heard how many cars need to fail for it to be a problem for the company, you would be worried every time you get in...

This article is spot on.
People hear bad things and people lose their minds. Welcome to America and to the internet in general. But compared to how many people are actually playing to failure rate, everything seems to be going alright.

Not to mention people like MisterX who likes to say they have the "insider" info when it's obvious he doesn't. Maybe it's just a high school friend that took some computer classes. I just want people to grow some...

While I do admit that I love the BF series and I do enjoy BF4 but I definitely don't play it as much as I normally would because of all the bugs.

I don't blame DICE for this at all. They have proven themselves at releasing awesome FPS. But as soon as EA got their hooks into them things have gone down hill. I guarantee DICE wanted more time to work on the game, but here comes EA and says to bad it needs to be released on this date broken or not.

@Darth

But the thing is Sony wanted developers to get the most out of their machine. And while yes the PS4's hardware is much better than PS3's, You have to think the X1 is have resolution and Framerate problems and some of PS4 games are even some Resolution and framerate problems, and thats with it downloaded to the HDD.

Now think if it was just disc based. There would be no 1080p or 60fps. Consoles are getting closer and closer to computers. And eve...

@Tiremfej

Actually cars have a failure rate too. Haven't you ever watched Fight Club? Those jobs actually exist where someone from Car companies go around where cars fail and figure if it actually deserves a recall or not. Cars fail a lot, even on day one off the floor.

Everything has a failure rate. Items are built by humans, Humans are not perfect, hence nothing you buy has a 100% guarantee of working perfectly. Thats why there are guarantees if it br...

Okay how about this?

Even after a year and a half after launch(first Q of 08) They picked out 2500 new 360's and 2500 new PS3's at random.

EDIT: sorry it was 2 years after launch

360 failure was at 23.7% (12% b/c of RRoD, 11.7% b/c of other)

PS3 Failure was at 10%

So i really don't think out of 4500 consoles we've only heard of less than 12 consoles screwing up, that there should be a pan...

Don't look that much into it. It's someone from Sony saying We've heard about these issues and we are looking into them and compared to how many are actually being played right now it seems like isolated instances. Any corporation would address something happening to their big new release of a product

4448d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Lets say there's 20 consoles out a batch of 4000 that fail. Thats a failure rate of .5%, that's actually considered to be pretty good for electronics.

When they picked 2,500 of the 360's and PS3's at random they found that the 360 had 12% chance of RROD and 11.7% of something else failing. The PS3 had 10% failure rate. So people need to chill out.

Did you not read the article? No 3D Bluray at launch. And what Sony said was that if you can't connect to the internet the PS4 will still play games but you won't have all the features. All launch titles are mediocre.

I just feel bad for all the people who bought X1 with no internet
