Microsoft know that there’s no future in single player games. That’s not where the big bucks lie going forward. They’re expensive to create and don’t give an ongoing stream of revenue.
Multiplayer, games as a service, streaming and DLC/MicroTransactions. That’s what is growing and growing. (And very profitable)
Now I don’t like the idea of any of that AT ALL, so I’m not saying that I’m supporting it... but what I am saying is Microsoft see that that’s...
Are you a retailer? Why would you care where it sells best?
I’m a gamer, I care where the game plays best. Whether the shop sells more PS4 or X1X copies won’t affect my enjoyment of it.
I have a PS4 Pro and an X1X but multiplatform games like this will be on my X1X as it will be the best version.
I’ll let you know how’s it is, if you have time in between totting up sales figures 😂
So what? How may Netflix free trials turn into paid accounts and how many just end?
This information alone is useless. You could spin it positivley or negativley...
E.G. "2 million people played Sea of Thieves as a free Game Pass trial and 1 million of those continued their subscription after the trial ran out, big win for MS and their Game Pass subscription numbers!!"
The only thing sad is you putting down a feature that is making others happy. Go and be happy with your games and leave us to enjoy what we want to enjoy.
Yes it’s a PS2 era game but the technical wizardry makes it look like at least a 360 title. You have to see the texture resolutions and overall quality in game to appreciate just how much better it is than the original. Stunning is a subjective term but compared to the original on the OG xbox, yes this enhancement is a stunning achievement.
@neutralgamer1992
You talk like older critically acclaimed games that maybe we missed at the time or want to revisit are somehow not worth our time as much as new games. By that logic lets delete Jurassic Park (wow) from our movie libraries because we have Jurassic World (ugh). At least it has more modern special effects, eh?
I'm glad Microsoft DON'T think like Sony and Nintendo, because if they did we wouldn't have EA Access, Backwards Comp...
@neutral
Unfortunately the Sony fanboys bleat on and on about the same thing... lack of exclusives. I have a PS4 too and I use it to play game like The Last Of Us and Horizon. But the fact of the matter is that my gaming time over the last year (at a guess) looks something like this;
PUBG 50+ hours
Titanfall 2 50+ hours
Call of Duty 50+ hours
Last of Us remastered 10 hours
Horizon zero dawn 10 hours
(Amongst ...
These backward compatible games with enhancements are fantastic. SSX 3 is the same game i remember playing on a blurry scart input, now with X rendering magic making it look pristine! Yes some of the textures are a little basic but overall it looks really good. Easily as good as some of these released 'remasters' that are all the rage at the moment!
People disagree with you, so just in case you’re unclear what that means .... you are NOT happy to have purchased it. Stop lying! 😂😂😂
@BadElf
I actually found Lucky to be far better than the reviews led me to believe. On the X it runs at 60fps too, looks and feels great.
Really enjoyed it, although there were some annoyances with certain sections. (unfair deaths in my opinion due to camera/point of view problems)
I reckon a sequel could really come good if they take on board some of the points raised!
Those people are talking out of their 😼😼😼
I’ve tried RDR and Portal 2 and both look so much better than before. I’m on a 4K 2016 LG OLED
@OffRoadKing
Xbox One X.... wonder if it’s an X specific thing? But would have thought the basic logic code would be the same across all
On the one hand I do love this game. But I have seen many, many bugs.
Sitting in a boat with a rostered NPC, and they just sit there spinning on the spot - this has happened twice.
Bodies getting stuck in cars/trucks EG an oil tanker, I killed the driver and they fell backwards through their seat and got wedged above the axel ogf the vehicle, then when I tried to drive the tanker back to the delivery spot it wouldn't go more than 1mph and kept making a banging...
You’ve got so many exclusives to play, yet you still waste time hanging around and commenting on an xbox thread. Interesting.....
Why do you have to be negative? Stick to your platform of choice and let others make their own mind up.
You lot are like those people who stand on street corners preaching about their religion. No one cares what you think.
It’s not forced, it’s an option.
You also have the option to run out into the street when oncoming traffic is close. Doesn’t mean you have to do it tho.... although.... nah never mind. 🤭
Same reason I’d rather watch Jurassic Park than Jurassic World. Newer does not always mean better. You are strange.
Not everything has to be about how up to date the graphics are.
There are many games from the 360/PS3 era that stand head and shoulders above their current iterations from a gameplay perspective.
Halo 3 campaign versus Halo 5 campaign for example. Halo 3 for me is a very enjoyable game, I found 5 to be bland an uninspired (the multiplayer was good though)
Well it’s only recently they announced that gamepass will include Crackdown 3 at launch. I don’t think they would announce that just 3-4 months before launch of a big title if they were going to cancel it. And if they were potentially looking to cancel they would know it by now, so far into the development cycle.
Stupid article!!
Microsoft store still shows Spring 2018 release
When PS4 had the best version of games it was "Look the Xbox resolution is lower! The performance is worse!!"
Now the XBOX X gets the best versions, the Sony fans are all whipping out their spreadsheets and calculators to show how much better the game sells on PlayStation.
I could not give a rats' fanny about sales figures, I'm a gamer and I want to play the game in the best possible quality. Unless you're a retailer, then sales fi...
