AWEEEE YEAHHHH!!!
Thats quite HIGH! Time to brush off the dust from my PSP! :D
Oh sht, these things creeps me out. Yes I get creep out easily by these easter eggs. T_T
Honestly, after playing this on my PS3 and on my friends 360, I really don't give a damn.
Never had I enjoyed a game where the environment is so large, breathtaking, and the characters are unique, this makes GTAIV and Just Caused 2 a wimp.
Yes I notice texture pop-ups, glitches, game crashing bugs and occasional alpha-type graphic. But those are small compares to the scope of the game itself. Still looks beautiful on both consoles. One of the best conten...
Oh Sweet Vekta...
Long live the Emperor!!!
Ok up close rt now on my PC monitor the difference is noticeable.
However, when move back to 4 ft away, its kinda hard to tell especially if its in motion.
Oh yea. :D
I would really want to know if the author of that comparison PS3 settings.
Was the RGB Range set to FULL?
Is the Super-White ON?
Honestly, its a great game, a true gamer would enjoy the game on his/her prefer console and not being tied-up in the great fanboy war.
Is this some sort of JOKE?!
Whoever wrote this article... Mr. Mark Fujii, you are NOT a gamer at all.
Was I trying to make PS3 version better? Not intentionally.
I'm not a fanboy and I have no intent on igniting a war over an average racing game. There's minor differences here and there but what matters most is how the gameplay feels to both console users not just someone who wears a Hummer Gen 2 like urself.
The war has begun!
Folks get a regular 720p TV and a 1080p TV, play this on both and tell me if there's any difference when sitting 4-5ft away.
Yeup.
What I see:
-360 has slightly slower resolution. 540P?
-PS3 looks 720P.
-Little AA on PS3, 2x?
-360 better AA, due to lower solution?
-Texture looks more blurry on 360.
Overall: Not too much difference between both when racing at a high speed.
Unless one or the other got screen tear issue.
@dirthurts
Problem is that the hardware does not have the necessary drivers to optimized performance on a Mac, not to mention the components are not all optimized due to the fact that it is a built Mac, not made by Apple; which is the model that Anandtech should be tested.
Also, Apple has yet to release any driver update to optimized the OpenGL for gaming performances. When that should happen, THEN Anandtech should do the comparison on a actual Mac model.
To find it ridiculous that Anandtech is using a Hackintosh for the benchmark instead of a Mac Pro or a MacBook? Kinda stupid there. As long as performance is above 40 FPS no ones give a darn about it.
I use a Macbook Pro *i5 update* and I find no problem between Mac Portal nor Win Portal.
A GOW film would be interesting.
However the director and writers would have to find a story that would not mess up the already establish timeline and feature something of Kratos past that have yet to be explain. "But not conflict with the new PSP GOW game"
Its not a flop until it sells less than expected.
I highly doubt AW even needed a super PC anyways. Its not Crysis. Problem is that I'd rather see my PC investment worth paying off for the next 5 yrs than having to get my 360 fixed/a new once awhile.
Maybe I'm one of those with bad luck on 360 iono. But I just had enough of going through the headaches and all.
Day 1 buy for me! :D
I gone through 3 360s unit already and I had enough. So just becuz you fanboys are pounding me for wanting a PC version... go F*** yourself. Not everyone wanted to spent $300 for another new unit.
Have we become our own worst enemies???!!!
