Sony doesn't just resell the game as it was on the original console. Imagine if you had a PS2 game to play, right? If the PS4 was backwards compatible with PS2 then you could easily play it on PS4 right? But then you could be losing out on buying it as a PS2 classic where the game has been upscaled to 1080p and had trophies added in. I could see where you were coming if Sony just repacked whatever with PS4 compatibility, but they don't. Sony sells you a better version of what you boug...
