No one cared about the wii because there has been so much shovelware on the system with so few AAA games in between. Nintendo are changing this with games like Donkey Kong, Kirby and epic mickey to name a few.

Move this year is more focused on the family audiences, however i see it being more focused on AAA titles next year. Sony are getting family audiences comfortable with move first so that they can then also pick up games like Dead Space and Killzone 3 and play them as easily as experienced gamers do.

The PSP emulator is strictly for the Minis range on the Store
PS2 Emulator is for the Early PS3s that had backwards compatibility. (60GB & 20GB)
This does NOT mean all PS3s can play every PS1, PS2 and PSP Games. It's ONE firmware for ALL PS3s!

This will never happen. Your're jumping the gun like everyone else. Go back and watch the demonstration of the Gladiator game. See how 2 Moves were required? You would need the sub controller to play oblivion which has no motion sensing built in to it. So it is already impossible.

It does do 1:1 now though with motionplus. Yeah you had to buy an add-on but i don't see how that is different from what sony are doing. After all wasn't the sixaxis supposed to best the wii? Now sony want you to hand over more cash for move.

I remember seeing this excitement a little while ago when the eyetoy was announced. Remember how Sony told us that it would change the way we game and look how eyetoy turned out.......
Sony and Microsoft are not going to capture the success of the wii. The shovelware will arrive on both consoles and once both are released, I'll give it 6 months before everyone no longer gives a crap about either of them.
I am truly shocked at the amount of ps3 and 360 fans here hyping natal and move as being amazing whilst all the time since the wii launched, looking down on motion sensing gameplay as "Casual." The double standards of the gaming press are actually very active within the gaming communities it seems.
Anyway, the conference didn't change my mind whatsoever. I still believe that natal and move will do nothing for either companies except allow quick ports of shovelware fro...

Open your eyes. This is just Sonys answer to tapping into the wii market. It won't work and if you truly believe that the ps3 won't get filled with shovelware like the wii has been then you are mad.

Correct me if i'm wrong but wasn't ridge racer used a while back to show off 3d? Ridge Racer was 1080p native.
I think Sony made this 720p because of the sheer chaos that will be on screen while playing GOW3 and that with a 1080p resolution would probably cause a huge framerate drop.

You are wrong. dchalfont is correct. 1080p is 1920x1080. The 1080 is vertical not horizontal. The 1920 refers to horizontal line and is representative of 16:9 aspect ratio. Also GT5P is NOT 1080p. It was 1280x1080 which means dchalfont is spot on again about the screwed up aspect ratio. I mean you are saying that 1x1080 is 1080p?! Seriously go check your facts before talking about things you know nothing about.

I can't believe people are still saying this. You CAN see the difference between 720p and 1080p on any HDTV. Screen size has nothing to do with being able to tell the difference it's all about your viewing distance from the tv. For example if you sit too far away from a 32 inch screen then yes you won't see the difference but get the viewing distance spot on and it's like night and day. Not getting anymore COD games or games developed by IW after being burned by MW2. Anyway Medal of Honor is back and i'm glad it is. I guarantee it will be better then the current COD Games. Already on pre-order and will be playing it day 1. It is clear now that IW has really joined in with Activisions ways and don't care about the quality of their games but are happy enough to hype their games up to take peoples hard earned money from them dishonestly.
I'll prob get lots of disagrees for this but 3D will fail. It failed in the past and it will again now. I can't see consumers buying into it at all. It's great that the PS3 can be updated to support it but these companies are not talking about the full picture. Microsoft and Sony both advertise 3rd parties whilst ending the adverts with an image of there respective consoles as it helps the sales of hardware and software both of which benefit the console manufacturers because of the royalties they recieve.
