It's not that. If you paid for this game full retail, and loved it (ok). You than paid for season pass and loved it (ok).

It has bad review because Steam has 500mb download to launch a game. Installer is in game and it downloads 100GB of data.
But since it's in game Steam counts it as playtime (over 2h download) no refunds.
Game also has launch problems crashes and all but generally its not 10/10.
