Warhawk is a multiplayer from way back...ps3, and I agree... I remember Halo 3 was exceptional.
Today, mp is unfinished, unoptimized with battlepass and this and that, also backed up by mtransactions.
When you pay $70 a game and another $70 in mt ...and another $70 in psplus...or whatever it is... I hope you'll have fun. I hope they will have successes.

I was expecting maybe retelling a first game where they explain more about finding first ring and what it was and expanding it with halo 4 where we saw more details about the chief, human facilitys and a bit of romantic hot Cortana... with a couple of cool spartan guys with different armors and abilities.
