I think it's other way around. Service to keep subscribers needs to constantly give content, and what you will eventually see is lots of filler. Also you will still need to buy those AAA from EA, Rockstar, Activision and so on that you want.
Ds5 is looking great. I personally wouldn't change much of the ds4.
I also think that no one is looking at the controller while playing, so I don't believe that there will be a screen there.
They will illuminate something, like the ps button, or have a slip of colour at the top, but I'm glad that I don't see the light bar.

I tried to remote play to my laptop on the same wifi. I have 100 mbps down and 7 mbps up. Its cool, but my refresh rate is higher on my tv. I've got 60 fps game running 30 fps on my laptop. It works but from like 15 minutes of play I would get some sound and game stutters. I didn't notice any input lag.
If you buy your games from Ps store, you could go to a store and download games that you don't have installed through remote play.
