Nioh 2 sold more copies then Nioh 1 in it's first year, that includes the PC release.
Nioh 1 had a lot more advertisements for it.

Days Gone and Death Stranding were great, so no I don't think so. Yes, Days Gone was buggy in the beginning, but that was ironed out.
2018 was a better year with, Shadow of the Colossus, GOW, Marvel: Spider-man and Detroit: Become Human.

Gears 5 is a step up in the series and is so much better than 4, but I still feel like it's a safe title. It's a solid experience, but I honestly find myself playing the campaign once and then move onto MP or to something else. 4K60FPS game will avg 15GB+(20-hour game could easily hit over 300GBs) per hour and people with data caps like I have this will be an issue. Now I have a 1TB data cap and on average I hit around 650-750GBs per month. It's great to see more options with gaming, but until they can figure out how to break down those numbers this service will not be for me.

Please say this is a joke. I know Ninja Theory was working this MP game before MS acquired the company, but this game looks pretty backwards when it comes to NT previous titles.
