How big was the beta on consoles? PC is 3.49gigs, if it's a lot less than that then consoles probably only get the one map

Then why does the PS3 look like it's running at full 720p?, click full screen to see the difference. I guarantee that lensoftruth will say PS3 is full 720p while 360 is sub 720.

I had no problems running the BF3 alpha with max settings @ 1440x900, 4xAA, 16xAF on my overclocked 460, plus it was always around 60fps with a few drops to maybe 45. If you don't have a 1080p screen just buy a 460 and overclock it, framerate might drop a bit in larger maps but it'll still be perfectly playable with max settings

Yes, as long as they keep the music the same from US/Europe, Japan. The gems collection just uses the US sound track even in Europe. Didn't like it as much

Yeah, it's not so great. The BF3 Alpha used it by default which blurred the image, but once you turned it off by going into the BF3 folder and editing the file info (wasn't possible to change it in the ingame options)it made the game look even better since it was a crisp sharp image
I remember watching a video like this ages ago and he said this tech will be used VERY soon. I Don't think any devs are interested though which is a shame because it could be decent tech
