Do you really believe in perfect reviews? I think a perfect score is impossible. Only game to ALMOST EARN a perfect score in my opinion is MGS4. Those damn cut scenes..
This is exactly why I regret building a monster pc. Being able to run everything maxed and then going back to play console games makes everything look like crap. If I never built a gaming rig then I might still enjoy console gaming 100%. I think the reason why we feel that way about graphics is because we can compare them and see they are clearly outdated. There is absolutely no excuse why these graphics aren't the best on console when they have as much money as they do.
Possibly. I forgot that MW2 was actually pretty good on PS3. So MW3 should be as well. I keep getting confused with how awful Blops was on PS3. I remember being all hyped for Blops, drove home, popped it in. Anger.
I do not own my own PS3 anymore. I can't call it mine. But it is right next to my 360 and I do use it more than the owner. (Who is in Afghan right now). I do like how Rhythmattic had literally nothing better to do than to put on his fake private investigator badge and try to shun someone for their opinion.
I think I may have found the reason why I started enjoying COD. It's just so easy to hop on and have some quick games. There is always time for some COD before work. I can't really squeeze games in like I can with COD.
It's funny you bring up Gears 3. A game that I thought I would hate. I give gears a Solid 9/10. I must say with PS3 really stepping up its game, I have enjoyed my 360 a lot more. It's puzzling.
I love that the game requires a lot of time. I'm tempted to buy every last game coming out. I really am. But if I am having fun with Dark Souls... Why would I pick up another game? I found that when I get lost in certain games during major releases, I rarely go and pick up new games, and I ultimately save hundreds of dollars. Dark Souls is definitely good. Once I get my new monitor I will be right back on it. One of the best games ever made though? It certainly is in reach of that title but falls short. The game needs polishing. Simple as that.
Well I never liked Uncharted, ever. I don't think the series should really see pass an 8.5/10. I am also being very generous. At least 4/10 is way more realistic than 10/10 and for that I give two thumbs up to the review.
Near perfection = Anything 9 and above without reaching 10.
Just my two cents but it is impossible to have a game with a "perfect" review. All games have loads of problems, so how could any game score be perfect?

The console shooter to get is MW3. The PC shooter to get is BF3. BF is so heavily gimped on consoles that arguing about it is completely pointless.
The exploit would be great after a run through if the player only wanted to go PvP.

I try to cycle through my games. I wasn't at all impressed with the BF3 beta. I might play it a little more but Gears 3 is new to me as I haven't had a 360 for that long. However I just picked up Dead Island... So I actually haven't played Gears in a couple days. :p And I am about to go pick up Dark Souls... Sorry Marcus!
One of the reasons I own a 360 now so late in its life cycle is due to the frustration that comes with multiplats and the PS3. I hope you're playing BF3 on PC though... Any other way and you are gimping the real, true experience.
