I'll take a game with a solid single player over any generic FPS. Any.Single.Day.

Cause every newcomer has all the time to invest in such a game... Nothing wrong with them trying to reach those markets where people have at most an hour or so a day to play a game. Quickly pick it up & get it from the get-go...

So why is a CURRENT gen game not able to run at 1080p .. But somehow magically games from 10 years ago can? Unless he remade them all which i'll bet anything he won't cause the resources would be way too much ... Please tell me how you would think games from 2-3 gens ago would all be 1080p? Please tell me. I honestly would like to know.
Why don't you do a bit of HW before you call someone out & make yourself look like a fool. GZ is currently 720p/60fps on the X1 .. I highly doubt he will make those games 1080p if he can't even get GZ to be 1080p on the x1...
