ive played most of those on pc and they werent anything special.
ive even played ninja gaiden sigma which i bought at the same time as god of war 2, but god of war was definately much more better.

ps even square managed to fail in their use of unreal engine 3 on the 360, the supposedly most easiest hardware to develop on (clearly not)
the ps3 being harder allows developers to better understand the hardware and atleast be motivated to develop for the system while the 360 just makes devs lazy.

and no install takes 20 minutes,within a game, devil may cry had an intial install of 20 mins but none there after. mgs4 had installs which ranged from 1 to3 minutes with an intial install of 8 min
