That was not a speed run by any means. The guy played the game and skipped the side stuff. Not everyone cares for the side missions or collectibles. He played the game how he wanted to and managed to beat it in 5 hrs.
Enough of the order cheerleaders. Can't wait to see the cheerleading for Bloodborne. A much deserving game.

I'll take 900p if that means the dev can add more life to the game. XB1 upscaler works wonders.
You can have better hardware but still be weaker if you can't use it correctly. DX12 is built to make XB1's hardware more efficient which can make it a better system. Ex: Iphone vs Samsung.
you can have all the power in the world but if the system can't use it efficiently then what good is it? A system not as powerful can still become a better system just by making it work more efficiently. I don't understand why people can't grasp this. DX12 is here to do such. Make a weaker system more powerful than it is.

Wow these people here are sinking to an all time low. Everyday it seems.
The big question is will it have shadows and AF? It may be 1080p but there's something wrong when you see the XB1 version have shadows and better AF than the PS4 version.
Since the XB1 has a great scaler, 900p isn't much of a downgrade esp. when you can add so much more to the game. Sony wanting 1080p is great and all but it takes hits in other places. As seen with most recent Evolve. Less shadows and no AF.
Not to knock on the game but i'm sure many games would look astonishingly good if they had black bars and were this type of game. What would the game look like without the bars? But maybe that's because game-play is more important than graphics to me.
Alpha build looks much better than Retail. And the Target vids look less grainy and more clear than the Render.
How are people saying it's an upgrade?

You are right about several chapters just being 5mins of cutscenes. In some cutscenes throughout the game, they allow some button interactions.

The guy beat the game in 5 hrs without doing a speed run. Did he collect everything? No. There are many that dont have the time or care to do all that. And many play on normal.
Many people are hating/loving this game before playing it. But damn the lovefest and defending this game is the worse ive seen. Give it a rest.

That's great that they are listening to feedback. I read about some issues the last update gave some and it looks like MS found a fix. Cant complain about it. At least we can still play online when the updates occur.

@Omega When the heck did he say it really wont do anything? All he said was it wont be a dramatic change. He also said you'll see 40% improvements on PC but that was proven wrong bc they are seeing 300%+

I'm an Xbox guy but this article is dumb. PS4 will not falter because of this game. The game will sell fine. Maybe if Bloodborne fails they may feel pressure from gamers, but that game looks a lot more appealing than this and should sell well.
