Probably because THEY DO need to work on something new. At least Polyphony Digital tried. They have 2 other IP's around their belt. How many does Turn10 have exactly? 1. Just 1 IP. lmao.
Pretty sure Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 will appear on Sony's consoles (as ports). Considering Valve and Sony have had an extremely good relationship over the past couple of years. And if Left 4 Dead 3 actually gets made. That will appear too. Not so confident about Gears Of War though.
Ehhh, it's cool. I'll probably get it when the trilogy drops to like $40. That way, I didn't really lose any money. It's like getting Mass Effect 1 and 3 for $20 each. I also prefer physical copies over downloads anyway.
DAMN! I just bought Mass Effect 2 for PS3 a couple of weeks ago!. lol. Now I find out the trilogy is coming to PS3 WITH Mass Effect 1. Hope we can buy Mass Effect separately. Would rather play the actual game then that comic thing. lol
Now time to put some Left 4 Dead, and The Witcher 2 on PS3!!!!!

Pretty much. Lol, I was just saying since Metal Gear went multiplat and all. PS3 still has MGS4. And since Mass Effect went multiplat as well. 360 still had Mass Effect 1. I would just compare the two.
The Witcher 2 and Demon's Souls seemed like the only 2 close comparisons though.

While it maybe true that the 360 beats it's competitors in the FPS department. It definitely does not in practically everywhere else.

And for every Ratchet & Clank game released this gen on PS3. Sony creates or publishes like 3 new IP's. If Microsoft invested as much as Sony has on new IP's. Then "milking" Halo wouldn't seem as bad now would it? The thing is, they don't.

How is that even relevant to what I was saying? Lmao. It doesn't matter. After Uncharted 3's success (Winning numerous awards, nominated GOTY, selling almost 5 million copies etc.), THEY STILL MOVE ON. They don't need to rely on the success of one franchise to carry their weight.
