I still don't really understand how family friendly = casual to people because it isn't. Lol. Sly 4, PS All Stars, and Ratchet & Clank HD are all "core" games. Not rated M games but still "core".
Family friendly = games that are rated E (Adults/Kids)
Casual = games that are played by stay at home moms or people who play games like once a month (Kinect/Move)

God of War has 7 games in the series. Meanwhile Battlefield (which started on PC) has like over 10 games out already. Your point? Everybody milks series smart one. Many if not most "NEW IP's" that are PC only tend to suck anyway and are not even worth mentioning. Loool
Loooool! Microsoft DIDN'T MAKE The Witcher 2 or Minecraft. The only "core" retail game that Microsoft will release this year is HALO 4! That's it. Meanwhile Sony released Twisted Metal and Starhawk, and upcoming are Sly 4 and PS All Stars. That's 4 to 1 bro. There's also Dust 514 coming this year. But since Sony didn't make that either I'll leave that out.

It's a prequel dude, not many prequels get a lot of hype compared to the main installments. Same reason why Gears of War Judgement isn't getting as much hype as Gears 3. If this was God of War IV continuing with Kratos after God of War III. Then it would be a whole different story.

Well considering chronologically it's the first in the franchise, it would make sense to NOT go backwards in terms of gore and violence. Lol. On the technical side of things....... It looks so damn EPIC! Wonder which between this, The Last Of Us, and Beyond Two Souls will look better.

Not really many heavy hitters on Sony's side are coming out this year that can go head to head with the likes of say Uncharted, Gears, God of War, Halo, Gran Turismo, Forza, Killzone, or LittleBigPlanet. Agreed, I liked 3 better than 2. But it didn't have as much as an improvement as 1 to 2. I think that's what left Uncharted 2 fans disappointed. But then again, you can't really improve much upon near perfection. It pretty much went like this for me......

Well, considering this is "the beginning" of Left 4 Dead and Valve and Sony have pretty much become pals. We'll probably see a port or maybe even an updated verion of L4D and L4D2 on PS3. This would sell like CRAZY so I don't see why not.

Well it doesn't matter because those two are among the best games this generation had to offer. Up there with MGS4 and Uncharted 2/3 for me. Can't wait for RDR 2 and GTAV!!!!!
