My personal favourite is FF7, followed by FF8.
Suikoden 2 is a classic too.
I have heard its a top-down crash type thing, with cartoon cars.
'This is an action game in which players earn points for creating traffic pileups. From a top-down perspective, players initiate crashes by driving 'cartoony' vehicles (e.g., cars, trucks, vans, buses) into busy intersections; multiple crashes trigger score multipliers and rack up large 'bills' of property damage.'
A lot will be put off by that.
Looks like they want MS to act so it isnt left behind by Nintendo. The year head start last time didnt help them this gen, so a late launch next gen probably wont be good for them.
Didnt they say the Wii and DS were doomed?
Nintendo has a habit of proving people wrong.
Any bets itll cost like 500-600 if it happens?
Hardly comparable to the much cheaper 3DS is it?
Yes, its a modern game thing. Games are a lot shorter now, which is a shame (It must be a DLC thing).
I only used CoD as an example, as its hugely popular for some reason (must be the multiplayer and mainly nonexistant single player) It wasnt meant to imply that u play CoD.
I think its why older gamers prefer the older games, which often had longer single player modes (sometimes even decent replayability too)
As i said in my first comment, de...
''All for a FRACTION of the gameplay length of multiplayer''
With games like Call of Duty and several others with the focus ONLY on multiplayer, that is true.
But games can have a decent single player experience if the effort is put in.
Im a mainly single player person... but its true, most games these days seem to forget that solo players even exist.
Call of Duty... has a what, 4 hour single player story?
Thats pathetic, and the main reason id never buy those games.
Older shooters, such as Goldeneye and Timesplitters were much better, and had a decent single player mode as well as a great multiplayer mode.
Why is it so hard for a lot of devs today to realize that not every1...
Although, that came first on the Game and Watch
???
How can someone disagree to something thats factually correct???
It was also in Link to the Past :)
Agreed.
I have never been bothered about achievements and trophies, or even graphics.
Games ARE about fun to me.
'Hint: It's an awesome choice.'
Link to the Past was the game he named.... This is an old article.
Still, hope he does it. Its the best Zelda game.
Nice.
Good to know Nintendo is gonna be treating the faithful to some freebies
Like it
Single player???
I thought modern gamers hated playing by themselves, instead of against ppl they have never met...
Isnt that like every site with a forum or games chat kinda thing though?
Im a regular on another site, and the ONLY ppl that seem to be bothered about the PSN being down, are Xbox fanboys.
RIP Ohga-san
Scores are useless, they say NOTHING about a game.
I do read reviews, but only to get information... features... etc.
