I disagree with most of this list especially Bayonetta. Bayonetta was one of my top 5 games of the year.
I have kept my hopes low for MGS Rising because everything about it sounds terrible. As a huge fan of MGS 1-4 I want to give it a shot but I'm not impressed with what I've seen and heard so far. I also agree with Silent Hill being on this list. I haven't enjoyed a Silent Hill since SH 3.
Lost Planet 2 was the only game on this list I found disappointing. I enjoyed Alpha Protocol and Final Fantasy 13. I never had high expectations for most of the other games on the list.
Bayonetta 2 or Bully 2 would make me very happy.
8, 4, 10, and 6 are my top 4. I can't decide between 7 and 10-2 for the 5th spot. I know a lot of people hated 10-2 but I loved it.
I really hope a Final Fantasy XIII-2 is announced. A Final Fantasy XIII sequel is second only to Kingdom Hearts 3 on my video game sequel wishlist.
I definitely won't forget Knights Contract. I am counting the days till its released. I'm willing to try all the games on this list except Thor. Both the Thor game and movie will most likely be crap.
Nice list of characters. My personal list would have Kaine from Nier at #1 and replace Thane with Mordin.
I am very happy they added Yuna. Hopefully Balthier is added to the lineup at some point. FF12 is my least liked Final Fantasy but Balthier was one of the few good things about it.
Hopefully this game turns out as good as I think it will. I have a lot of respect for both Square Enix and Obsidian Entertainment.
I'm not forcing my opinion on anybody but to me Enslaved was a great game. I bought it day 1 for full price and have no regrets.
Enslaved is a very fun game. They did a great job on the story and characters. Enslaved is definitely a great game to get for Christmas.
I played Deadly Premonition, Enslaved, and Alpha Protocol and enjoyed all three of them. I would have played Valkyria Chronicles 2 but I got rid of my PSP a long time ago.
I bought a San Francisco 49ers faceplate that I still have proudly on my 360 even as my 49ers suffer another losing season.
I don't see what my admiration for Square Enix has to do with this. I did enjoy FF13 and Nier but those 2 games are far from the only reason I loved 2010. I just love a year that gives me great games like Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, Fallout New Vegas, and so many more great games.
I have no complaints about 2010. I've played some really great games this year. 2011 looks like it will be an even better year but 2010 was great.
How can you call Miranda ugly and put a hideous looking creature like Chloe on the list? Also Fang > Lightning.
This is the best games of 2011 article I've seen thus far. This is the first one that doesn't overlook some of the games I'm really looking forward to like Knights Contract, Dungeon Siege 3, and Beyond Good & Evil HD.
Tidus had his annoying moments but I found Wakka way more irritating.
Same battle system, no Hope or Sazh, and less linear.
