A danger to creative freedom is right. Im really glad that CD didnt change the game. They should tackle final fantasy next, with square enix acting as uninterfering publisher.
Um...My favorite parts of past (final) fantasy games were exploring the world while time stood still, when there was no crisis or urgency and i was left to progress my character without progressing the story. My favorite parts of final fantasy on the ps3 were when i was playing something else and thinking how much better this was to final fantasy.
Dead Space 2 was a pre order for me, I got all the trophies minus the dlc ones and even finished hard core mode, which made the game super scary. And I loved Ellie and the fact that Isaac talked. But after playing the demo for ds3 I lost interest in everything dead space. I really wish publishers could learn from mistakes like this. We like unique experiences not for everything to be like call of duty. Jeesh.
Well, black is beautiful, and the racist minority who thinks otherwise does not belong in this age.
If there's a tutorial then they should include an option to skip the hand-holding and reward veterans with special fan armor or something for completing that first challenge unaided.
Death becomes you.
Ive wanted to try this game for ages and now im finally sold, thanks ill get it.
I didn't bother reading this opinion piece but I'm going to comment anyway because I disagree. I think the reason we wanted a remake is because we imagined what a final fantasy would look if the characters looked like they were suppose to. Half of final fantasy existed in our minds because they were so badly animated and there was no voice overs. We used our imaginations when we played and when we wished for better hardware. A final fantasy 7 remake is not just a visual upgrade, it is...
The two things I disliked about skyrim were the frequent loading times and the glitches that prevented you from getting or finishing certain quests on the console. I think there should have been an option to read one of your favourite books on the loading screen. But despite all that i managed to clock more than 250 hours and I'm still playing, so they must have done something right.
I have only Dragon Age 3 to look forward to, because i want actual roleplaying, blood, choices and a good story in my rpg. Here is hoping there's more unannounced titles, else ill have to try out New Vegas and or Dragon Age 2. Or design my own game.
ffx was the last great final fantasy for me. i still remember how i had yojimbo kill almost all the bosses in the game with zanmato-even dark yojimbo who appeared three times in a row. the end to final fantasy for me did not happen with ffxiii but with ffxii. in that game you could miss out on a ultimate weapon(not the boss) if you opened a few forbidden chests. no indication in the game of what chests you should not open but you can find out about it if you read a gamefaq. when i started to ...
I got platinum for both games but I agree that they could make it more straightforward. I did my first play through on my own but to get everything I had to go on-line more than a few times. I also agree that they should make it more accessible for new players without toning down the difficulty. From software needs to be more commercially successful, they deserve it, and it would be selfish of us to insist that the keep it strictly tailored to our tastes. Most gamers don't get to the end ...
sigh...i cant even sell my launch arkham city for a fair price because i already redeemed the catwoman dlc. compared to the goty edition it seems almost worthless.
3 seperate shorter campaigns is actualy a good idea. in the previous resi you would have replayed the same campaign on harder difficulty or better score and the campaign was actualy a bit long. Im sure they will change the style with each campaign so switching to a new one after the 'phew i did it' finale sould be great.
Obsidian and Red Eagle were working on the wheel of time rpg but it seems it may have been cancelled.
'...the number of unintuitive
elements integrated seemingly for the
sake of selling guides, and the way plot
lines make no sense without the help
of supplemental publications that are
never published in English.' Wow. Two more reasons to hate modern ff. I have high hopes for versus by i just realised that square enix will never get it 'right'. But other companies will.
well i love my move games, especialy the ones that can give u a workout and/or teach you to dance. so this is great news for me.
This guy sounds like my boss.
thankfully all my male crewmen died from previous mass effects. just hope the new additions dont come on to me!!!
Before the gaming gods began to sculpt the ps4 they asked themselves this one question: 'How could we create the best possible console, that gamers and developers will adore?'
While down below, the demons asked this: 'How could we create a box that would make us the most money?'
