Microsoft has pulled an Apple in canalizing their own product with Xbox Game Pass. I, and arguably most other people, no longer have a real reason to purchase an Xbox unless they want their few exclusives on the big screen. Also, if somehow we get Game Pass fully working on say, and iPad or iPhone and could AirCast it to a TV - that really makes owning an Xbox pretty null for a fair amount of people.

I'm someone who is a huge fan of Samurai/Ninja genre video-games and while I'm enjoying it, the game certainly suffers from "Open-World" syndrome making the quests/game feel frankly, a bit stiff in the story and combat department. Where was Chrono Trigger 2? Cross was not a "sequel" but rather loosely connected game of the same Genre sort of like how Xenoblade Chronicles is loosley tied to Xenoblade.
Watch them released another Mario game and Breathe of the Wild 2 and both be better than anything that comes to PS5/Xbox One inthe year after their release.

Awesome game. By evolving, I wonder if they mean creating a new "IP," that isn't necessarily of the Star Wars universe but has an overall gameplay and exploration and story delivery in a similar way. I'd welcome it. I don't care much for Star Wars granted this game was amazing and probably my favorite Star Wars related media ever.
I built a gaming PC and I love it, but frankly, the PS5 and Xbox are going to perform better than my current PC and consoles are catching up to a point where the cost of PC desktop (not to mention the room they take up) is just not the same value proposition it used to be.
A console generally lasts 6-8 years, 10 some may argue too. For a 3rd of the investment....yeah I'd go console all day right now.
