The PS3 controller is much much better. I own both, and the SONY controller is much better due to the better d pad and lower left analog stick. Ummmm... The PS3 slim is superior. It's smaller and comes with a bigger HD and uses far less power. Backwards compatibility means nothing when we're all playing this gen anyway. I have a 60 Gb since launch and recently I have started to get some graphics glitching during gameplay. Only certain games do it though. I believe this is the result of the GPU getting fried. This game was the worst running game I have ever played. I rented it from Gamefly and couldnt get the second level to load after 3 hours of trying. I sent it back and the new copy did the same thing. The game froze when loading option screen, loading levels and in the middle of boss battles. During gameplay there were bright visual color distortions, flashing shapes and lines ruining the experience. This was the worst game ever created!
