Let's get 1 thing straight. Before we ask where we are going to go from here; let us first have a sufficient "here". Right now the PS3 version of "here" is laggy and total crap. Maybe we can go forward with a proper version of this game before we look toward the future. The game is 4 days old!
That would actually be a good thing. Right now, we are getting bullshit versions that run worse than PSx games. I'd rather play a different shooter with minimal lag and no screen tearing. Black Ops is unplayable after 5PM EST. When the kids are home from school across the country, it just becomes ridiculously bad. Ground War should not even be on the list.
It will surpass the 360 in sales the same way it has surpassed it in graphics, and everything else.
The only place it will not surpass the 360 is on VG charts.

SONY released that their worldwide sales are at 41.6 million. That is a fact. If the VG charts kid cannot even implement that fact into his data, then his data is completely worthless. He knows what the actual number is, yet he is still inventing another.

you will. I don't mean to sound like a dick, and I hope you enjoy the game, man. The thing is, the game really does suffer from lag issues. I have an excellent internet connection and I experience freezing and lag an awful lot. Sometimes lag is expected, but there's been an unacceptable amount.

Yes I experience the game actually freezing for 3 seconds about every dozen matches. During every other match, I experience lag and frame rate issues. The game is fun, but imagine how great it would be if it were made properly.
ALan Wake indeed should have sold more. I think the fact that it didn't is the smoking gun. The proof that 360 owners only live for Halo, Gears and FPS. When you can have a solid build like Alan Wake, and it doesn't sell, it really does say a lot about your owner base. Bring it to PS3. We play all sorts of adventures and enjoy em.

The maps alone make this game much better than MW2. MW2 played like every battle map was in a backyard or a dam phone booth. It was getting ridiculous. Glad Treyarch got back to business and made superior maps.

Sniping is supposed to be in the game. Stop whining like little girls, and realize that it's harder when you only have 1 bullet. It's extremely eaqsy to run around and hold R1. When you have 1 bullet and you'd better hit the guy, how is that easier?

That's really cool. I think the little zombie game is an excellent idea. I wonder how many other little arcade games are written onto the disc. Perhaps future patches will include more. Very very cool. More bang for our buck!
they'd better be, for 3x the price. Gaming on PC isn't for everyone. Console gaming is a much better experience I think. Always has been.
The game has many many issues. That being said, I have 12 hours of it played and I have had a lot of fun. Many matches lag and the framerate is awful, but the game has potential to be a great shooter. If the SONY version wasn't so choppy it would be amazing. I hope these supposed fixes do a lot to help everyone's experience.
