Who said anything about judging others based on their preference of soda or videogames?
The idea here is that the companies are locked in a duel. A war. We drive it, they reap the rewards or the decline. That's all.
It need not go beyond that. No one is saying you're judged on what you prefer, just that those preferences drive the war. Sides are chosen most of the time. Its completely normal.

Coke and Pepsi have been in a cola war since 1965. In free enterprise, competitors are said to be in a war for our dollars. We consumers have our preferences and those preferences drive the war. It exists because of us.
So lets all stop with the console war not existing. It is very real and we fuel it every time we buy a game.

Those ppl are lying. Its very easy to see an immediate difference in 720 vs 1080p. Its even more discernable when running at 60 vs 30 fps.
Those who claim there is no discernable difference are speaking through their anus.
