Time to add on to the multiplayer part? Dude the game is an MMO its ONLY multiplayer. There isn't a singleplayer offline mode you know.
That said, day one purchase for me. Take a nice break off WoW wait to see their next expansion.
Just started playing Reach for the first time this weekend since I bought it on launch. And I gotta say im having alot of fun playing it. Big team battles and invasion are really good multiplayer modes.

Diablo 3 is the only Blizzard game that Could work on Consoles like Torchlight since they are similar games.
But Diablo 3 will msot likely launch on PC first and foremost and will be the Better version in every aspect.
I got a nice list of PC games im getting after watching Pax East i see SWTOR is Back on my list! and Guild Wars 2 will always be on my list just under Diablo 3.
Agreed. Console gaming This gen has had a negative impact on the gaming industry. Cause in the days of CS 1.6 and back when PC Gamer magazine was popular. Developers were always pushing for Innovation an taking bigger leaps in graphics.
The variety to PC Gaming was so Vast. Games like Messiah, Black & White, Populous, Soldier of Fortune, Kingpin. There were so many different kinds of titles to play. Now this console gen has become rehash shooter after rehash shooter.
They should have jsut left out the space combat and implement it in an expansion or something?
I for one have absolutely no interest in space combat and hope i never have to play it in game. I just wanna play my Sith warrior and kill some Jedi :) I hope they got nice Battlegrounds.

To be honest Rift is going to be killed by SWTOR. When SWTOR launches this year Rift numbers are going to plummet to the ground.
WoW will lose some subs but not enough to make a Big deal over. WoW has a huge community and a loyal fan base im still playing wow an have been since launch tho i take breaks from it often like now. tried all MMO's Warhammer, Aion, Age of Conan. Rift (Beta) and they just dont have the Staying Power.

It means they need to develop the game with Co-op in mind. It can't just be tacked on to a Singleplayer RPG-Shooter.
How do you think it will work your friends play as the team AI members? so they make no decisions and stand around watching you do all the important stuff? So they have no real relevance at all? Would you really want that?
Thing is, whether online or offline co-op sort of defeats the purpose of Singleplayer RPG. Imagine Zelda Ocarina of Time Co-op? It just doesn't work.
And this even involves long conversations that include making choices that can truly change the whole experience of the story. How does that translate in 2 player mode? who makes the decisions?

Yeah a Sept launch in pretty much sealed at this point. MMO's usually launch close to winter anyway. Its very rare they launch just before summer.
