the ps3 has sold half of what the 360 has sold in a year, actually a little bit less.
Sony can still beat the 360 by starting to outsell them from 2008 to half of 2009 or maybe just smoke them completely in 2009.
people tend to confuse the wii's sales with the 360's sales and then compare those to the ps3 sales.
don't let the numbers fool you, the 360 is'nt that far ahead of the ps3 that it's impossible to catch up to it ...
it's 500 dollars for a ps3 now. 400 if they make a price drop here too.
look lbp has character creation ,level creation, you can play with 3 other friends online, you can share you're levels and characters with other people around the world etc.
the game does'nt look like it can get old.

the ps3 is simply greater in power.

rockstar gave up the exclusivty for gta4 the 360 becuse it has a bigger userbase, the ps3 is new so it does'nt have enough sales for rockstar to put such a great title on.
super mario galaxy though is a good contender aswell, but I'm thinking halo3 will be the game of the year , unless uncharted comes out of nowhere and proves to be better than bioshock.

the 360s early headstart actually was more of a good thing and an advantage for ms.

yeah the 360 has a btter library but only because it has been out longer.

fans of the ps3 are'nt in an uproar over no B/C. 360 fanboys are the ones complaining and using that to bash sony and the ps3.

howver the gameplay and framerate issues seem tedious, if they can fix that then mass effect will have no problem becoming a great game.
however, even if the game sucks, it will still get good reviews, ms is probably gonna hype this game as much as they can just to have another halo game in their hands.

I have a ps2 and a ps3.
I've never had the time to play my ps2 games with games like warhawk keeping me busy.

this is why I want the ps3 to beat the 360, not only because it's my preference, but so that a company's system shows that it can rise above all the biased and cheating crap.
Sony has had amazing sucess with the ps1 and ps2.
Ms's game divison has sucked completetly now and in the past in profit.
Sony once had alot of profit coming in, but they gambled and lost.
now they gotta rebuild all over again, and it will serve as a big lesson for them.
