Unless you consider 89% of gamers - according to Gamestop - are Sony fans, then yes.
Now they still could have kept those features. I personally liked the "play without your disc" feature, but as long as DRM is gone, who cares.
The DRM is basically baked in the system, so yes its needed. That's why they will release a Day One patch that deactivates DRM check-ins.
Because you're a faaannbooy
One-time connection to set-up the Xbox One.
Quote:
An internet connection will not be required to play offline Xbox One games – After a one-time system set-up with a new Xbox One, you can play any disc based game without ever connecting online again. There is no 24 hour connection requirement and you can take your Xbox One anywhere you want and play your games, just like on Xbox 360.
Wrap it up, we're done here, peeps.
The Power of the Gaming Community. We've done it.
I hope MS can keep their heads on this time.
Opinions..opinions, everyone has one.
My opinion: Nintendo should just go third-party. This console business isn't working out.
Sony said the same thing in 2006 with the "Power of the Cell" talk - sounds similar to "Power of the Cloud" - and the fancy Blu ray player - Kinect 2.
Yep. People want a gaming console. All these gimmicks always end up in failure. At the end of day, people will choose the most less-expensive console, and the most frendly consumer wise. In other words, no one is gonna buy a NSA-bulit Spybox, with a $500 price tag. Give it a break, MS.
I don't use Bing anyway. It's lame.
@dedicatedtogamers
That's the biggest load of dog poop I've ever heard. We have a philosopher here, folks.
Honestly, I'm ready to smash and throw out my DVD player because it looks too similar to Xbone.
This console gives people nightmares.
It won't be similar to the deals you get on Steam, I can tell you that much.
Knowing MS, they'll be full retail on Xbonelive for years.
What? That can't be real.
No multiplayer? So I'd assume we'll get 50+ hours of gameplay, majority of that from the openworld, right?
Judging from the trailer, it will probably have that multiple-story sequences like they had in DA:2 - I could be wrong.
That right there is what killed the game for me. Bioware should focus on one story, and expand upon it like they did in DA:O
Yep, barely any exclusives at PS conference, but I'm sure MS had something to do with that.
lol.. Got me ;)
I'm sorry, but the RetroN 5 sexy there is - still haven't come out yet.
EDIT: Look at her, she's beautiful. http://operationrainfall.co...
All thanks to Microsoft.
Sony should send a 'Thank You' letter.
Yeah, hardware that's 3x faster than the actual product their releasing? Man, you MS apologist and sheep are funny.
Disc. I love the physical copy. Sure, the family sharing plan would have been nice, but losing DRM over it was worth it. Nothing good comes from DRM, and I use history as proof.
Sure, the fanbots and loyalist will get all pissy/poopy about it, but this is good for gamers in the long run.
