What does 'Next Generation' in anything means to you, in general? The next generation of people, doesn't essentially mean they'll be smarter or more physically fit than the previous. The next generation of cars, doesn't necessarily mean they'll get better gas mileage than older cars that came before them.
The Wii U is a next-gen console because it's the successor to the original Wii. Plain and simple.

Yeah, by your logic, the Xbone will dominate by sitting in stock, that no one wants to buy.
*And Yeah, I happen to work in retail, and out of every 10 people that ask to buy a next-gen, only one of them ask to buy a Xbone. I even got more call-ins to buy a PS4 more than the Xbone ON XBONE'S LAUNCH DAY.

If you walk to the backroom where all the inventory is at, you can see a big cage right behind the electronics section (depending on the layout). The PS4s and Xbones should be in those cages.

Just got back from work. Only 7 people outside lineup to buy Xbone. Last week, it was over 40 people lineup for the PS4.

No duh. DR3 is not next-gen. Its a current-gen game ported to a next-gen console. Capcom messed up by making this Xbone exclusive. DR3 would look a lot better on the PS4. Fact.
