There was always something unique about every good TPS game in history. Uncharted has the acrobatic climbing and teasure hunting aspect. Gears had RTS aspects to it. The Division has RPG and open-world MMO aspects - even tho it isn't out, it maybe the best game of 2015. Metal Gear Solid has stealth aspects, which is probably the best TPS ever in my opinion. So I want to know exactly how this game makes its mark in TPS games history. I really hope the gameplay isn't just 90% shooting...

Half-life has now become a cult classic, and not an AAA status game anymore. It has skipped an entire generation, and the general gaming community as a whole has forgotten about it.
Half-life's popularity is running off shear vocal-minority hype only present on the internet. The game is dead. Even Valve said that themselves, but the Half-Life cultists just loves dragging it out.
Third party exclusives from MS...ya don't say? Except, a year or two down the line it will come to all platforms...as usual. The correct term for that is timed exclusivity. We don't need thuway to make this prediction. It's educated guessing at best.
