I'm not sure why you think this would be the end all be all. There are plenty of time periods that would make for great stories in an AC universe. I think you may be basing this off of some peoples extreme love of all things Japanese. This doesn't reflect everyone's feelings or thoughts. Ninjas and Japan are cool but that in no way means it be the greatest AC game ever.
Feudal Japan or modern era would be nice.

Just as N4G has a voting system for comments it should have the same thing for articles. This was obviously made by someone who totally misunderstood what rockstar has done. On top of that I'm sure he hasn't even played the game. Why does it matter if first person is there if they aren't forcing you to use it? Let us people who prefer first person gaming enjoy something many of us never thought would be implemented so well.
Maybe I'm only excited because I haven't played an AC game since the first one. I watched the entire live stream event in awe of how great this game looks and plays. Sorry you AC fans don't feel the same way, but I can't wait.

The guys they chose to do this were complete idiots who im sure have never played an AC game before. The race was HALARIOUS nonetheless.

This game needs AA more than Charlie Sheen. While I do find the games arcade style pretty fun it just looks gross.
Absolutely LOVE dev's going out of there way to provide good AA to games on consoles. The PS3 was a jaggy fest and I'm glad people are making steps to correct that.
I think anyone giving this less than a 9 is being silly.
That I would have to agree to, because now zipper is gone and we will never see another socom, but halo is going strong. h-hour is most likely down the drain as well.
Had way better times on Socom then any halo game to be honest.
Haven't played an assassins creed since the first one which was garbage in my opinion. I'm LOVING Unity. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Read the reviews before you buy a game and maybe you won't get upset.
