but i bought the game (used) 2 days ago.. I was really excited to play MAG again ( I played countless hours in the beta, lending my hand to Zipper).
I was impressed by the final build, but alas it was the same game i poured more than 30 hours in the beta. I guess what i'm saying is i wore the game out before the real thing. More power to those that continue to enjoy this game.

it would be a shame if it were true. Our customer bargaining power would cripple, due to many reasons. One of the biggest being, the ability to resell your purchased item.
the funny part is I have seen more Kinect related news than Halo Reach news... Just puts it in to perspective how much Microsoft is betting on Kinect, and how little they want to market the title that made them relevant in console gaming.

yea great coop game.. just lacking in a coherent story, and some monsters just looked uninspired.. good thing i just rented it.

I cannot imagine SONY charging for used games. They ahve many first party studios churning up AAA games thatpeople buy....
I dont think SONY has reason to charge for 2nd hand games. They should not feel threatened as well, they make quality first party games.
i've been around since the atari gen, but each gen improves on the former... so i really dont find this surprising.
Only negative about this gen is the start of extreme fanboy loyalists, and DLC.
I'm fine with DLC that expands the game, ala Borderlands, Mass Effect , etc. And sometimes game mode, some character map packs are nice too.
Wat isnt cool, is 1st Day DLC...and already on disk DLC or unlock to play content thats already on disk...
until we can download 1GB in less than a minute, then no, digital copies will not be common.
Even with Blu Ray tech, I dont see the point for downloading anything now or for the next 5 years. (games and movies)

quality? i dont think so. Maybe Reach will blow other 360 games in terms of quality, def in terms of sales..
GT5 and Halo are going to sell a lot.
GT5 is way more popular than Halo Reach. Maybe in North America they are tied in terms of popularity, but in EU or Japan? its not even close.
In EU its like a cult, a hip culture, or what have you.

i think most gamers respect the metroid franchise.. its just that the game is a sidescroller, call me crazy but i dont think many people are thrilled about that.
I'm sure it'll be great and awesome, but its just not the game-type i enjoy playing. THe last and only sidescroller i played was Mario All-Star collection for SNES.
In seriousness.. MW2 just gives you glance at the different weapons that can be found in real war... but gameplay and everything is nothing like real war
a guy isnt going to rush a building full of enemies and try to knife everyone with one slash each.
