it does matter when making big games, otherwise your gonna have to store data in multiple discs.. see FFXIII for 360.

yup the blueray is a big + next to the ps3. Had M$ invested in blueray on the 360, maybe the graphics would be less of a landslide battle.
they're affordable!? O.O... i think they are bit pricier than on the app store on itunes. I think the psp minis will take bites out of the actual psp games. I have a pspGo! , its a sleek device, but i think SONY had a change in plans with it, once it saw that it didnt sell as much. I also know that the Go wasn't made to replace the 3000, but im also sure that SONY was expecting bigger sales...
while videogames should be compared to video games; its not a crime to compare them to actual movies on the big screen. I'm all up for that, but lets keep our attention on making the game better. if that means using a movie as an inspiration so be it, and besides Heavy Rain is sort of like a movie.
idk the character models hold their own against u2, and kz2. I was kinda disspointed how small items , such as the razor and toothbrush looked in the tutorial that was just recently released. The water looked bland as well, and didnt interact well with the character, but this game should still pump a great visual experience.
Heavy Rain is not your average game. Its not a FPS, RPG, platformer..etc. Heavy Rain is more of an experience, where you see a story through the eyes of different characters. Its hard to give a score to this type of game, because there aren't many that have capitalized on quick time events; however, that doesnt mean the genre can't be great.
Heavy Rain looks great, the gaming experience will be surreal and above all interesting and fun, at least in my opinion.
haha yes they do, but these games can be coded for the 360, BUT they would have to downgrade various aspects of the game, its a fact.
ps3 has lots and lots of power, its not surprise why were seeing so many great exclusives. one thing is to support ur 1st party studious, and another is actually having hardware that can support high power games.

wow pc users are butthurt, ps3 > 360 even my CMPE professor says that, and she took apart both hardware and we examined the hardware.. bottom line is PS3 has many proccessors working at the same time, more processors = more work at the same time, the 7 controllable CPU's also help regulate, and defer information to specific parts of the hardware.
