yea, and maybe increase the moves to 6.
confrontation had a horrible launch day, but now its a pretty good socom game, a little too late though. I jumped ship after the first month, god was it horrible.
lol, what are we gonna play?
itouch games v2? i call that hardly better, more like were going to milk the casual market even harder.
why? because PC gamers are losing their bargaining power, especially by now buying basically fixed prices via download. I said it before and i'll say it again, Downloading is bad for the customeres bargaining power.
this especially happens when an extremely greedy company decides to jack up the price. - activision
BS, of course its about sales. If a non-profit organization said this, i would agree. But this a business and if Crysis 2 fails on the consoles shareholders, management will be questioning this move.
bunch of fanboys in here. A team that specializes on a particular thing will do better than a team that is focusing on a wide range of the same thing. Its simple, Ps3 1st parties, know the system more than any other party. So taking fanboyism aside, it is obvious crysis2 will not look/play/feel better than ps3 first party, because of the ps3 first parties specialization in the ps3.

Because they used to be cheap, lol.
You can get a GPU for $600 that has the same amount of processing power as 6 PS3's.
You can also mount up to 3 or 4 of those GPU's into a single computer giving you something like 20x the power of the PS3 in a single package.
----------
look what you just said, 600$ for just a GPU? and you still have to get the motherb...
i'll keep my hopes at a moderate level. Why cant devs just look at the success of SH2 and just implement the best features, or look at other success survival/horror games. Take a page out of their book and you'll have a bright and shiny product.
cant wait :). sign me up.
i agree, i'm sure they wont drop the ball like they did to last years exclusives. They are doing a better job now of marketing there games, and modnation racers, if done properly, and take a bigger bite of the casual market (more than LBP).
the biggest exclusive for SONY is GT5, hands down. It will sell more than 1 mil in the first week.
I know many people, who have hated GT5, because of its difficulty to master, BUT the graphics just look pristine. I cant wait to try it on my 48' HDLCD :D
now 3D gaming will be praised according to journalism, calling it the second coming. Also giving praise to M$ for pushing the envelope, and how it will benefit the market as a whole. lol, i could see it already.
this is bad, because if APPLE succeeds in tapping the casual market, then you'll see a backlash of SONY , M$ with even more casual games and completely saturate the casual market, AND the quality of games will drop.
its not the tech thats "hot" , its the brand. Heck i should make a peach company and make my logo very similar to the apple, and im bound to rake in a galore of cash.
ehh, i'll wait for pokemon grey.
epic example of an "apples to oranges" comparison.
In general, gaming journalism is fail, its all about hits to get some advertisement investment.
less people with MW2 on the ps3 will purchase the DLC, because it will be arriving around the time modnation racers shows up. I'm not saying everyone is going get MR, but it will definetly hurt PSN downloads for the stimulus package.
i guess playing " the big red ball game" is what we'll be seeing, and maybe sequels!!! :D
bad idea.
for the devs this would be awesome because they will have one platform to release their games. However this is the worst possible outcome for the consumer. We will lose our bargaining power, because there wont be any competition to level prices, and this will allow the platform devs to control everything going in and out of the system.
horrible idea for consumers, people like you and me.
this is fubar
