natal is already costing more than one setup of move ($100).
well if this is the pricepoint, then i can say M$ really put resources into this, but the end product might not show it. If Natal cost 60 - 70, for sure i know its a failed tech.
say the EA partners game is a fail. SONY can be the scapegoat and pick up IG as another 1st part studio. Of course, like i said, the EA game has to be an utter failure.
^^ lol, i was gonna say that
this is stupid, shaq would get destroyed in MMA.
R2 was better than R1.. i actually felt R1 was the generic alien shooter, while R2 actually felt there was an atmosphere of urgency.
Five reasons? hardly, more like one reason:
1. Halo
2. Halo
3. Halo
4. Halo
5. HALO!!!!
day one buy for me
what sony meant by future proof is that the lifespan would be about ten years, that seams pretty good (uses ps1, and ps2 as indicators). The next wave of consoles wont be seen until 2012, and will probably be hinted at next years E3.
the bad part of IG going muli-platform is that the ps3 quality will be hit hard. We all know the quality of a ps3 version compared to a 360 version. We also know that the ps3 offers the most power to churn out better games, but because of the 360, we will now play games lacking lots of content (unless it was ps3 exclusive).
as long as IG keeps churning out quality R&C and Resistance games i'm happy.
it just means IG can do what they want with 3rd party games. Ratchet and Clank is IG's bread and butter.
While E3 is a place to showcase games and such, I don't think it really matters when you release a AAA game such as KZ3. Games with huge budgets and have established a market already, don't need E3 as much. New IP's however rely on E3 to get the hype out.
still you can expect to see a lot more details for KZ3, Socom 4, and Lbp2 at E3.
great for IG.. nothing for support, they always bring AAA quality. I think the third party game is going to come from the new North Carolina studio.
thank you Treyarch.. now the game can say it requires skill to play.
the movie was not bad at all, it was slightly better than average.i give it a C+
physical copy > digital copy.. always.
First of all never buy movie games... most gamers know that.
2nd, Lost Planet 2 was a huge letdown, the story was a mesh, the characters had no character, and overall level design was uninspired.
FFXIII was just a let down, i was expecting a lot more, but its still a mid 80's game, can't say the same about LP2 (mid 70's game).
well 2 games do deserve to be on this list: Lbp2, and TLG
i actually agree with your first point. For the most part PC gamers are usually stuck to that one game. WHich isn't bad of course, but from a gaming industry perpective they want more diversification, and PC gamers are pretty hardcore on that one game. The way to capitalize on this, is to make expansions... The only pc games i'm waiting for are starcraft 2 and diablo 3
PC's have overpriced peripherals as well. I fail to see your point.
