it's defiantly not a win win. sony will get paid for every 360 console sold & more blu ray movies will be sold as well. xbox will need this to stay in the race but they already mentioned numerous times that the 360 will not get blu ray. even if it dose the added blu ray will cost a fortune considering the added HDDVD was $200

i do own a 360 and have played Halo. and every says Halo is bad but if you go back and play the single player game you will realize that it's probably THE WORST SP GAME EVO. literally Resistance had a kick A$$ sp and awesome Mp honestly i truly believe it's way better than Halo largely because i still play Resistance and i stoped playing Halo a long time ago. it's sad that a PS3 launch title beats a 360 supposedly AAA game. VERY SAD.
There is a pretty big difference between Blu RAY and DVD. If you meant HDDVD there is also a big difference. thats why BLU RAY took over so fast.
