Install uBlock Origin ad blocker on your browser. I use Chrome browser and there's an extension for it. It's been great since I started using it 8 months ago. No more ads and popups at all. If you need to allow ads like on Youtube, because they can detect it, you could just turn it off for any individual site if needed.
Those ads used to piss me off constantly. Especially the ones that take up the entire screen and you can't close it like what you mentione...

It's a demo of a game concept. Don't get hung up on semantics. I'm not saying it's a demo of a game currently being developed. When Silent Hill PT was released, some game sites called it a demo, some called it an interactive experimental film, a teaser, or even a game. Short Message is in the same category as PT
Free playable games are not there to just entertain you for free. It's also a means of the developers gauging the audiences response to it. It gives them feedback
Some people have asked why this even needs a review since it's a demo. I think a review is necessary. It sends a message to the developers there are certain things that should be done better and this may not be the direction to take the Silent Hill series to. Hopefully Konami learned from some of the reviews

State of Play will never be as exciting as those E3 announcements and reveal trailers. FF7 Remake, Shenmue 3, Uncharted 4, KZ2 "game play" trailer, The Last Guardian, the return of Kojima showing Death Stranding. The energy of the huge audience and developers on stage was special

Give us the latest and best processor and gpu that will fit in a large handheld form factor. The Asus ROG Z1 Extreme has the best specs for a PC handheld today. I think Nintendo should take it a step above that
My PS5 gets more attention lately for certain games, because my PC needs an upgrade badly. Still using the GTX 1080, but it's starting to show its age. I'm waiting for the RTX 4080 Super to release and then the building of a new rig begins
