I completely agree.
I'm going to wait to see how Hayter's 'Watchmen' turns out in 2009. He is one of the lead screenplay writers on this film, and it looks like its got quite the budget so far.
Think of this: There isn't a single cooking simulator out there. The closest thing to the Food Network is Cooking Mama.. :S
If this game is done properly, it could be the next Tiger Woods.. Remember when everyone thought how much of a sell out that game would be? Then we played it, and it was amazing.
If anything, it's close-minded gamers that are bringing down our industry; certainly not Gordon Ramsay. I will definitely wait for reviews before running out to buy...
Nice catch - bubbles for you :)
Just linked my PSN ID up with my PSU forum ID - very cool feature that is really well done.
I'm impressed!
..Now I just can't wait for trophy linking support :)
P.S. Have fun @ E3 sev1512! Lucky you-know-what... :P
I would also say that the downtime is for 2.41 testing..
There's no way Sony can have another 2.40 fiasco. They'll be testing it in every way possible before releasing to the public I can assure you.
"I would like to know if someone can say something about PSN that doesnt involve the words if, when, soon, just wait, it'll be patched and, so on?"
THIS THURSDAY the PSN will be getting firmware 2.40, an upgrade that allows in-game XMB browsing and a Trophy achievement system, along with Trophies for the first supporting game Super Stardust HD.
All of this is completely free.
There, I've tried to summarize what all the PSN buzz OVER THE L...
"Stay awhile and listen"
Nice. As long as this game isn't subscription-based, it's a definite buy for me.
And cried for 36 consecutive hours.
Seriously - should anyone who didn't think to press the 'Start' button during any videogame cutscene (let alone MGS4) be allowed to write and publish GAME reviews? Think about it.
I too am a GAP and long time PS.com forum member. I hate to say it, but betas are no longer used for tweaking the game. They are purely used for two things now:
1) Testing server load
2) Driving hype
I miss the days of closed betas. Even SOCOM is going for a public beta. Anyone who downloads Qore will get in.
But, what has me most worried about the future of 'incentive purchases' is this ridiculous crap Dice is trying to pull with the gold e...
Join a forum if you want to post 'hilarious' fake-patch news..
This is NEWS for Gamers, not JOKES for Gamers.
Go to badjoystick.com next time, tool.
And what was up with Paula Abdul? Just randomly stumbles on stage, then claps off beat to the song..
Also, did anyone else notice the amount of missed notes? I think it was Tony Hawk too.. All you could hear from the guitar was 'irp eerp beerp eep irp' the whole time. Someone please put Hawk on easy mode next time.
After being so underwhelmed by the demo, I kind of figured this game was going to be a letdown.
But 4.5/10?? Ouch.. My impression was in the 6/10 range - I would have never guessed this game would actually get a failure rating.
The point of the whole receipt required thing is to ensure that the person paid for their PS3 (i.e. didn't steal it).
Sony couldn't care less about the date of manufacture (as mentioned in the article). They just want to make sure you're not getting warranty repair on a PS3 you stole from someone else.
THIS ISN'T NEWS.
How is this sh!t news?
They really could have beaten the MPAA and set a precedence in the US if only they would have stuck to their guns. That whole forum moderator IP tracking gossip and the back-editting of threads to remove movie names was a TERRIBLE call. That just screams guilty.
It's a shame because TorrentSpy is a search engine just like Google. In terms of the law, they aren't even in a grey area, let alone wrong. But, now that a precedent has been set, the MPAA will have a much easier time ...
Allow me to give a quote from this article:
"..Until it is abolished, just say no to Blu-ray and spend your money elsewhere, try books for example."
Yes, because reading a book is the same as watching a movie?
[/Inquirer credibility]
It is an extremely well written review. One quick thing before my response: I don't know if N4G screwed up your formatting, or if it's just the way you write, but the whole review is missing a space after each punctuation! Annoying, but not a huge problem.
Okay, so I've talked about your writing, but now it's on to your content.
First and foremost, I have to disagree with you on graphics. I'm playing on a 60GB PS3, and have yet to experience any pop-ins or last-g...
If they knew how limited their beta servers were, then why the hell did they open up FREE worldwide beta code sites, including a completely OPEN beta for all of Europe???
Their NA strategy originally made sense, as they could keep a strict limit on how many NA users were allowed in, because they decided how many MGS Saga DVDs w/ bonus codes to produce. But then, for some reason, they also opened up a free code giveaway for NA...
How can such a mistake be made by ...
Thanks for posting NDN_Shadow.. This will be my best chance at getting a code - I was lucky to be on N4G at the right time! :)
