1k is for the founder’s edition of that gpu which u ABSOLUTELY cannot find at retail price. The TRUE price of a 5080 is $1250 minimum. Pointless comparison and my 4070 Smokes a PRO.

I’ve heard nothing but bad things about this card so far. If I can’t get the 5090 tonight I’ll just get a 4090.

Saying the graphics are “rough” is being generous. It looks like a PS3/PS4 game even on the Pro. Excellent combat but man is it in need of a graphics overhaul.
In the end PC and Nintendo will be the last man standing. MS been caved in and Sony is slowly following. It’s just the way it is now. Times have changed and I’ve been around long enough to see it happen. All you Fanboys out there might as well accept it because like it or not it’s the future. As soon as Sony drops on PC day and date that will be the nail in the exclusive coffin.

Definitely not worth the asking price at the moment and tbh I don’t know that it ever will. Games look marginally better but the Pro is definitely not a must have.

Yeah I know wishful thinking on my part but if I can’t get a 5090 then I’m going to just go for a 4090. I have a 4070 so for me that will be a big enough improvement. The lowest I found was a 4090 for 2300 so that might end up being my only option. Guess I’ll see in a few days.

I don’t see it being that price neither. Rockstar will make their money back 10 fold without price gouging. It’s GTA 6 and that will be enough to make RS billions. The game will probably release on multiple console generations.

Haven’t played Astro bot so I can’t say if it’s GOTY material or not but BMW was definitely one of the best games I played this year. I’m no longer into platformers as I find them mostly childish for my taste since I’ve gotten older. Astro bot does look fun but I don’t see how it beat out games like FF7RB or BMW. Guess I’ll have to play it and see.
